A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello there and welcome. My name is Darien Clark and I was just awarded my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast/Digital Journalism from the University of North Texas in Denton. I also earned a minor in Sociology, as well as a Sports Certification all while graduating with honors. I'm essentially a storyteller with the ability to express them using multiple different avenues or platforms. I can publish anything from a basic news story about what your city council is doing to how good the Dallas Mavericks are this season. I can produce stories, start to finish, in a video, web or print article, live on the radio, or even through a podcast format. Not to mention, how to incorporate each of the stories via any social media outlet. Through my three years in the journalism industry, I have developed many strengths with each one of these production avenues while having the passion to share any and all stories - even your own.

Aside from what I do, more importantly, I am a husband to my beautiful wife, Brooke, and also a father to my eighteen-month-old daughter, Sutton.  I was born and raised in the Dallas area, but we now live in Plano, TX. We are very involved in our local church and love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I personally love playing and watching any sport there is, along with any kind of outdoor activity. I enjoy live music and traveling because there's always a new story wherever you go.
